Am I overwhelmed by how much I want to do, or glad that I have so many wonderful things from which to choose?
Am I depressed because I’m soon to be another year older, or grateful I’m still kicking and enjoying my life?
Am I irritated that my husband keeps interrupting my train of thought, or happy I have a husband who wants my attention?
You get the idea. We can either react to each thing in our day as if it’s a problem or accept that same thing as a gift. It all depends on which side of the lens you’re looking into.
This picture made me laugh out loud.
I wonder if the man was able to take a really closeup picture of the squirrel’s face or convulsed in laughter at the whole situation.
Did the squirrel and the man become friends?
What a beautiful example of why we should slow down and enjoy all the special moments in our everyday lives. How lucky we are!

love this post, you are so right, we are as happy or unhappy as we choose to be, I try to choose the postive when I can, it makes life so much nicer !!
Thanks, Stephie. I’m so glad you liked the post. I notice people who are ‘always’ in the dumps, ‘always’ negative about things. It makes me strive to see things in a positive light – see the humor in so many things. You’re right. It makes life SO much nicer. :0)
