I couldn’t be more ready for spring.
My daffodils are blooming – surviving a cold snap with ice and snow! – and making me happy every time I step outside.
In the midst of ‘wishing winter away,’ though, I found this example of incredible creativity by some talented people using the opportunity of snow as a canvas.
Faced with a pile of snow, I make a snowman or a snow angel. It never even OCCURS to me to try to do something like this. Isn’t it awesome how some people’s minds turn to the unusual – AND they have the talent to make it happen?
THANKS to the people who make us smile while waiting for spring!

I’m so happy to hear that your daffodils are doing well. Ours still have no heads yet, just greenery. I was reading online yesterday that after a chilly winter this year, the daffodils in the UK have bloomed four weeks late, so because of this the price of daffodils has increased by 50% this week because of the shortage!
Hi, Jenny. Sorry to hear your daffodils are delayed and pricey in the UK. I’ll get out and take some pics of mine today and write a post, sending a bit of spring your way, at least vicariously.
Aw, that would be great to see your daffodils, Linda. Spring is on the way for us, I even have frogs in my pond now that they have ventured out of hibernation
I’ve sent a few pics now, Jenny. I envy you your pond and frogs. :0)
